Marcum Workplace Challenge

Melville hosted the 11th annual Marcum Workplace Challenge run-walk for charity at Jones Beach State Park, benefiting four Long Island charities. A record 223 Long Island companies and organizations fielded teams, and more than 12,000 participants and spectators turned out. Fundraising results for this year’s event are still being tabulated, but are expected to push the total well beyond $600,000 to date.
